EVENT INFORMATION
STAGE: Stage Dimensions are 32’ deep x 40’ wide with wings on both sides and an on-
stage crossover behind the cyc.
LIGHTING: Lighting cues are not available for this venue.
EVENT CHECK-IN
Directors and performers must check in at the registration booth at their scheduled
registration time. Dancers will be given a wristband to wear for the duration of the
competition.
Wristbands of performers unable to make the check in time will be given to directors.
Lost wristbands will not be replaced, a $30 fee for replacements will be charged.
REQUIRED: A valid ID will be required to check in [drivers license, school ID, or
passport] and must match the name on the liability and media waiver.
TECH
Maxt Out unfortunately does not offer a tech rehearsal. However, the gym and other
areas of the venue will be available rehearsal space.
PERFORMANCE VIDEOS
All teams will be recorded via front row and wide view by our partners at Vibrvncy.
All videos will be posted and, respectfully, no requests to delay posting will be accepted.
PROPS
Props are allowed for all performances. Handheld props must be carried with the
performers at all times. Fully built props may be dropped off at the theater storage dock
at 8am, props may not be built on site in the theater. All props must be able to be set on
stage in under 1 minute and must be removed from stage in under 1 minute. External
directors/ “team dads” will be allowed on stage to assist with set up and tear down.
Props will be loaded from stage right and must return to stage right following the
performance.
TICKETS
Presale tickets will be available beginning Sunday October 5th . Tickets can be
purchased using our Maxt Out App or through our website, Maxtoutdance.com. Follow

PARKING
Parking is free, located in the north east student parking lot on the corner of Verdugo
and Broadway. This is the only provided parking lot, all other parking will be street
availability.
REHEARSAL SPACE
The gym will be provided for rehearsal space, we kindly request that teams rotate and
do not monopolize the floor. Teams may use the entire campus space, apart from the
space in front of the theater and our vendor village quad.

REGISTRATION
Early Registration Fee: $35 / dancer.
*Please Note* – Entire roster and FULL team payment must be submitted by September
14th to qualify for the early registration fee. Teams may not register a partial roster and
add dancers later.
Regular Registration Fee: $45 / dancer
Junior teams may have 2 non-paying directors.

ALL PAYMENTS ARE DUE NO LATER THAN SUNDAY OCTOBER 26th . TEAMS WHO
DO NOT TURN IN PAYMENTS BY OCTOBER 26th WILL INCUR A $5 LATE FEE PER
DANCER. ALL SUBMITTED PAYMENTS ARE FINAL AND NOT ELIGIBLE FOR
TRANSFERS OR REFUNDS.
TEAM ROSTER
– Rosters must be submitted using the Maxt Out App or via the email link sent to
the team at the time of acceptance.
– Roster swaps / changes will be accepted until October 26, 2025.
– Please include any members performing in another group to avoid back-to-back
performances. This is the only way Maxt Out can ensure dancers have time
between numbers.
MUSIC
Final music must be submitted FRIDAY NOVEMBER 7th into your team google folder.
The link will be provided in your initial acceptance email. Teams who have not submitted
music or requiring edits after November 7th will subject the team to a 5-point deduction
or $50 fee. Maxt Out is an all-ages event, therefore music may not contain excessive
profanity.

ADULT DIVISION
Teams with a minimum of 15 dancers ages 18 and above.
Teams smaller than 15 are allowed but are required to pay a minimum registration fee of 15 dancers.
Adult teams may include minors on the roster.
4 Judges will be divided into 2 panels, Artistic and Technical.
Artistic Score Breakdown:
30 Points – Dance/Choreography
10 Points – Performance
10 Points – Creativity
Technical Score Breakdown:
30 Points – Fundamentals
20 Points – Precision
Dancers will be scored out of 200.
1st Place – $1500, Trophy
2nd Place – $500, Trophy
3rd Place – Trophy
JUNIOR DIVISION
Teams with a minimum of 15 dancers ages 18 and below.
Teams smaller than 15 are allowed but are required to pay a minimum registration fee of 15 dancers.
Junior teams may NOT have adult dancers on the roster.
4 Judges will be divided into 2 panels, Artistic and Technical.

CHOREOGRAPHER DIVISION
Projects with a minimum of 15 dancers, all ages.
Teams smaller than 15 are allowed but are required to pay a minimum registration fee of 15 dancers.
There is no age limitation for this division.
This division is specific to highlighting individual choreographers as opposed to established teams and may
be named after the choreographer themselves.
4 Judges will be scoring on the below criteria.
Score Breakdown:
30 Points – Dance/Choreography
10 Points – Performance
10 Points – Creativity
Dancers will be scored out of 200.
1st Place – $1000, Trophy
2nd Place – $500, Trophy
3rd Place – Trophy
KILL SHOT DIVISION
Projects with no minimum dancer requirement and will pay a flat fee of $350.
Dancers will all be provided the same short 1:30 minute mix which will be up to their own interpretation.
Acts will be required to stay in a specific costume color scheme of Black, White, and Red.
The emphasis for this division is specifically on highlighting unique interpretation and creativity, challenging
dancers to battle back to back with identical music. How much does your routine stand out? We want all
your tricks, visuals, and insane choreography crunched into less than 2 minutes.
4 Judges will be scoring on the below criteria.
Score Breakdown:
5 Points – First Impression
5 Points – Distinct Vibes
5 Points – Energy & Execution
10 Points – Creative Interpretation
Dancers will be scored out of 100 and there will be a single winner of the highest score.
There will be no second or third place.
1st Place – $2000, Trophy
MUSIC & CONTENT GUIDELINES
All music will be screened prior to the competition. Music MUST be free of profanity, curse words and explicit or sexual lyrics.
Music is subject to a 1 point penalization for EACH curse word, here is a list of the words you may not use any derivative: F**k, A$$hole, B!tch, H*e, N!**a, C*nt, Who&e, Sh!t, P*$$y, P!$$, C*ck.
Thank you for understanding and we apologize for having to be so specific.
Music will have a 1 point deduction for every 10 seconds over the required time frame.
MUSIC SUBMISSION DUE DATES:
Music (5min MAX) is due by or before: FRIDAY NOVEMBER 7TH by 11:59PM PST
Email music (MP3 format) to: maxtoutdance@gmail.com OR drop into your team’s designated Google Drive folder. The title of your music track must be TEAMNAME-DIVISION. Ex: ASCENSION-ADULT
REGISTRATION FEES
Registration is not complete until FULL ROSTER AND PAYMENT is received. There are no refunds at any time.
Registration payments may be transferred from one dancer to another, this must be communicated and approved no later than Friday November 7th.
Dancers performing on multiple teams are required to pay the registration fee for EACH team. Dancers will be counted on stage to ensure the roster matches the number of performing dancers. Performances with more dancers than rostered are subject to deductions.
*Deadline for Regular registration ends on SUNDAY OCTOBER 26TH including full roster and tshirt sizes. Teams unable to provide all tshirt sizes by this day will forfeit their competition-provided tshirt.
